Session 2022-23

• Attended Two Days North Zone Convention Workshop by SPIC MACAY at Delhi Public School,Ludhiana.
• YOUTH FESTIVAL POSITIONS – 1^st  in group song,1^st  in group shabad,2^nd in geet 3^rd in classical vocal,3^rd in Indian orchestra in zonal youth festival and 2^nd in group shabad in inter zonal youth festival.

• Six days classical dance workshop was organized and hosted with the collaboration of SPIC MACAY from 1^st feb- 06 feb 2023,by VID.MOUMALA NAYAK ‘A’ grade Dehli doordarshan and ICCR ,Ministry of culture Artist.
• Holi celebration celebrated with departmental Alumni’s ON 7^TH March 2023.
• Folk song and song competition held in DAV college hoshiarpur.Our positions-2nd position- Simran folk song category and Consolation-Deepika in Geet
• Ms.Deepika Bhardwaj student of M.A Music vocal Released her songs.LOVE VS LIKE, HUKAM DA YAKKA, PBO7 WALIYA, COSTLY GAME BY B.K OSCAR COMPANY BATHINDA.

SESSION 2021-22

• Tribute to Lata Mangeshkar by Departmental Students.
• Our student performed shabad in online musical programme organized by Khalsa College for women Ludhiana.
• Our student got first prize in folk song competition organized by Pathankot College of education pathankot.
• YOUTH FESTIVAL POSITIONS – 3^rd in group song, 3rd in group shabad,3^rd in geet in youth festival.
• Ist position in Geet competition organized by KLM institution pathankot.
• Saraswati puja was done by faculty members on the occasion of Basant Panchami in the department of music.
• Online Kavi darbar was organized by department with the collaboration by Art and culture society and youth welfare department.
• Audio video surinder kaur cover song was released by college.
• Online musical   performance of different states given by our departmental students with the collaboration with EBSB.
• Department Appreciate students to make their own you tube, instagram singing channel.

Session 2020-21

1. Students performed Shabad Gayan in godharpur organized by shiromani gurudwara prabhandhak committee.
2. Department Organized Online Vidyarthi Kirtan Darbar with the collaborating of Punjab govt.and deptt of youth welfare CHD.

Session 2019-20

• YOUTH FESTIVAL POSITIONS – Ist in group shabad,2^nd in group song,3^rd in classical vocal,3^rd in folk song in youth festival.
• Kirtan jatha of our department performed in sultanpur lodhi on the occasion of 550^th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak dev ji on 07 Nov.
• Kirtan jatha of our department performed in sultanpur lodhi in stree sammellen on the occasion of 550^th birthday of Guru Nanak dev ji on 09^th Nov.
• Kirtan jatha of our department performed shabad in Mahan kirtan sammellan hosted by our college on 29^th Nov 2019.
• Basant panchami celebrated by our department on the theme “live painting live singing”
• Holi celebration was organized by departmental students.
• Organized online patriotic singing competition (Inter Department)
• Participated in AIU online youth festival held by P.U CHD in gazal category.held by govt.college bhera.KUK.
• Organized online state level singing competition in which 30 colleges from entire Punjab region were participated.
• Students of our department were participated in national level online shabad, folk, geet, sufi singing competition organized by different colleges and got 2^nd ,3^rd prizes.

Session 2018-19

• Basant festival celebration by department on 07-02-19.geet gazal competition was organized on that day.
• One day workshop was organized by department on the topic “bhartiya sangeet ki shailion ka gyan ‘’ on 09^th march. By renowned artist DR.MONIKA SONI FROM P.G.G.C COLLEGE SECTOR 11. CHD.
• YOUTH FESTIVAL POSITIONS – Got 2^nd in group song and 1^st individual, 3rd in group shabad, 3rd in classical vocal in youth festival.

SESSION  2017-18

• Department organized one day workshop on the topic ‘’DIFFERENT BANDISHES IN HINDUSTANI MUSIC’’ on 19^TH APRIL 2018. Dr.ALANKAR SINGH Assistant Professor Punjabi university ,Patiala and  Ashok Kumar (‘A’ GRADE RADIO ARTIST) was invited.
• Basant panchami was organized by department in college campus. On this occasion ghazal competition was held on 22^nd feb 2018.
• Performed Group song and got 1^st position in CT INSTITUTION JALANDHAR by our department.
• YOUTH FESTIVAL POSITIONS -3^RD Position in Classical vocal and 3^rd in Geet.

SESSION 2016-17

• Department organized One Day Workshop on the topic “Importance of bandishes in the improvisation of ragas’’ on 28^th 2017 Dr.Neelam Paul Associate Professor P.U.Chd, and Kumar Gaurav (‘A’ GRADE RADIO ARTIST) was invited.
• Celebrate basant festival by department in college on 1^st feb 2017.
• Tanvideep kaur got 2^nd position in folk song competition pathankot college of Education, Pathankot.
• YOUTH FESTIVAL POSITIONS – 2^nd in shabad,3^rd in group song,1^st in folk song in Zonal youth festival.
• First position in folk orchestra in state level youth festival held at G.T.B khalsa college dasuya.

Session 2015-16

•  Indian Classical Musical Concert was organized on 16 september.Dr.Neelam paul (prof.Department of Music P.U CHD)  was invited for performance.
• Inter Department Gazal competition was organized by Music Department on 24 oct.
• Music Department organized Three days workshop on 1^st, 2nd,3rd feb. 2016.Dr.Chaman lal (EX- DEAN HPU SHIMLA Department of Music), Dr.Vivek Verma(Assistant professor Department of Music Aay pee Jay college of fine arts jalandhar ,Dr.Mikki Verma Assistant Professor Department of Dance was invited.
• YOUTH FESTIVAL POSITIONS – Department students got 1^st position in classical vocal 2^nd in group shabad and 2^nd position in group song in youth festival.
