Session (2023-24)

• On10November2023,FashionDesignDepartmentofDasmeshGirlsCollege,ChakAllaBaksh Mukerianorganised a * Diwali Exhibition*in the college premises under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Karamjit Kaur & under theheadship of Mrs Poonam Sharma , Hod ofFashion

  DesignDepartment with the efforts of her department arranged this exhibition to create the spirit of entrepreneurship in students.

• Department of fashion Design organised ‘TIE&DYE’ workshop on 11 October 2023 .In which students learnt Different type of TIE& DYE techniques( Shibori , lehriya , floral ,Paisley, Fan folding,marbling,scrunchies effect.
• Under the guidance of Dr Karamjit  Kaur Principal of Dasmesh Girls College Chak Alla Baksh Mukerian,Department of fashion Design organized Rakhi/Fashion exhibition on 19August 2023on auspicious occasion of Teej Festival .

Session 2022-2023

• Bsc fd final students attended one day Fashion Design workshop at International school of design , Amritsar at Amritsar on 11 April 2023.Also visited Trillium mall, Amritsar For their Brand Survey .

• Apron making , Fabric Manipulation & Theme Based Collection Activity Organized by Fashion design department on 06 April 2023 .

• Fashion Department students participated in Inter College Fashion Show ( Merakhi ) which is held at Rrmk Arya Mahila Mahavidyalaya Pathankot on 17 March 2023.
• Department of fashion designing organised a three day workshop on “fabric painting &craft”inDasmesh girls college chakAllaBakshMukerian from 22.2.2023 to 24.2.2023 under the able guidance of Principal Dr Karamjit Kaur and Mrs Poonam Sharma HOD of FD department, Mrs.Akwinderkaur Ms. Daljitkaur Workshop was conducted by Ms RituLal (expert teacher) PidiliteCo.Ltd. Jalandhar.

• Department of Fashion Designing organized one day’ Youth Business Fair” through exhibition cum sales activity in collaboration with other committees SAP and Institutions Innovation Cell, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan on 25-01-2023.

• Holi festival celebrated by Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat with the collaboration department of Visual and Performing Arts(Music,Fine Arts, Fashion Designing) and Alumni Association.Singing competition ,Rangoli competition, Tie and Die competition were conducted on that occasion.

• Annual Exibition organized by Fashion Designing Department on 05 June 2022.
• Basant panchami Festival celebrated by Fashion Designing, Music & Fine Art Department on 05 Feb 2022.
• One day Exibition on Krvachauth Festival organised by Fashion Department on 23 Oct 2021.

• One day Competition Activity organised by Fashion Department on 09 Oct 2021. This competition based on ‘BEST OUT OF WASTE ‘.

• Three day Competition Activity organised by Fashion Department on 22 sep to 24 Sep 2021.

• Three day Exibition on Rakhi festival organised by Fashion Department on 18 Aug to 20 Aug 2021.
