Under the aegis of IQAC, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club of Dasmesh Girls College, Chak Alla Baksh, Mukerian in collaboration with Fashion Designing, SAP and Fine Arts Department organised an Exhibition on the occasion of ‘Diwali’ in our college premises under the guidance of Principal Dr. Karamjit Kaur, Ms. Surbhi Kundra (Nodal Officer of EBSB), Ms. Poonam Sharma (HOD of Fashion Designing), Dr. Akanksha Verma( HOD of Fine Arts ), Ms. Priyanka (SAP) on 18th October, 2025. The event aimed to promote the festival of lights with creativity and enthusiasm. Students displayed a variety of handmade decorative items, diyas, candles, rangoli designs, and eco-friendly crafts symbolizing the spirit of Diwali. The exhibition aimed to encourage artistic expression, promote environmental awareness, and showcase traditional Indian art forms.

The event received an enthusiastic response from both students and teachers. Beautifully decorated food stalls and innovative ideas reflected the hard work and imagination of participants. Principal and staff members appreciated the efforts of all students and motivated them to continue such creative endeavors in the future.

Under the aegis of IQAC, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club of Dasmesh Girls College, Chak Alla Baksh, Mukerian in collaboration with Fashion Designing Department and SAP Committee organised an Exhibition on the occasion of ‘Karwachauth‘ in our college premises under the guidance of Principal Dr. Karamjit Kaur, Asst. Prof. Surbhi Kundra (Nodal Officer of EBSB), Ms. Poonam Sharma ( HOD of Fashion Designing) on 9th October, 2025. The festival of Karwachauth was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion.The celebration aimed to promote awareness about Indian culture and traditions among students and staff members.A special exhibition was also organized, displaying decorated thalis, earthen pots (karwas), hair accessories and mehndi designs. Faculty members and students actively participated and enhancing the festive spirit.

Prof. Surbhi Kundra ( Nodal Officer of EBSB), Asst. Prof. Poonam Sharma ( HOD of Fashion Designing) on 8th August,2025. The event aimed to promote creativity, cultural awareness, and devotion among students. The exhibition also displayed art and craft items, Handmade Rakhi, handmade decorated gift packs, charts related to Indian traditions. The exhibition not only provided a platform for students to showcase their talent and creativity but also deepened their understanding of Indian culture and values.

दसमेश गर्ल्स महाविद्यालय की ‘एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत’ समिति एवं ‘हिंदी साहित्य परिषद्’ के संयुक्ततत्वाधान में हर्षोल्लासपूर्वक मनाया गया हिंदी दिवस

दसमेश गर्ल्स महाविद्यालय चक् अल्लाह बख़्श , मुकेरियां में प्राचार्या डॉ. करमजीत कौर जी के सद्मार्गदर्शन में कॉलेज की एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत समिति एवं हिंदी साहित्य परिषद् तथा हिंदी स्नातकोत्तर विभाग द्वारा हिंदी दिवस बड़े ही हर्षोल्लास पूर्वक मनाया गया । कार्यक्रम का आगाज़ शब्द गायन से किया गया। हिंदी साहित्य प्रेमी छात्राओं ने पद्य एवं गद्य की विभिन्न विधाओं पर अपने विचार अभिव्यक्त किए। हिंदी दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में कहानी लेखन, निबंध लेखन और काव्य लेखन प्रतियोगिताएं करवाई गईं। विजयी छात्राओं को स्मृति चिन्हों से सम्मानित किया गया। इस अवसर पर प्रिं. डॉ. करमजीत कौर ने अपने वक्तव्य को छात्राओं के समक्ष प्रस्तुत करते हुए कहा कि हिंदी भारत की एक उत्कृष्ट भाषा बन चुकी है। 14 सितंबर 1949 को देवनागरी लिपि में लिखी हिंदी को भारत की आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में स्वीकार किया गया था। प्रथम हिंदी दिवस 14 सितंबर, 1953 को मनाया गया था । संविधान के अनुच्छेद 343(1) में इसका उल्लेख मिलता है। फारसी शब्द ‘हिंद’ से बने हिंदी का अर्थ है- सिंधु नदी की भूमि।तकनीकी प्रगति ने हिंदी को एक महत्वपूर्ण वैश्विक भाषा के रूप में स्थापित किया है। प्रवासी भारतीयों एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पाठकों के बीच भी इसको विशिष्ट स्थान प्राप्त है।आज हिंदी हमारी राजभाषा है और सभी राजकीय कार्यों में प्रयुक्त होकर उनका गौरव बढ़ाती है। विदेशों में भी इसका प्रचलन बढ़ रहा है।2009 में गूगल ने अपने सर्च इंजन में इसकी शुरुआत की थी । दुनिया के 200 विश्वविद्यालयों में पढ़ाई जाने वाली और 150 से ज्यादा देशों में बोली जाने वाली भाषा हिंदी है।हमारी परंपराएं, संस्कृति, सभ्यता सब भाषा ही बयां करती है। इससे हमारे संबंध अवश्यमेव घनिष्ठित्तर होंगे । हिंदी दिवस न केवल हिंदी भाषा के महत्व को मान्यता देने का दिन है बल्कि यह हमें याद दिलाता है कि भाषा के माध्यम से हम अपनी सांस्कृतिक पहचान और सामाजिक मूल्यों को कैसे समझ सकते हैं। इसकी रक्षा तथा प्रोत्साहन में हम सभी को अपना सहयोग देना चाहिए। इस अवसर पर कार्यक्रम संयोजक डॉ. रीना कुमारी, सुश्री मानव, सुश्री रूपाली एक भारत श्रेष्ठ भारत समिति की इंचार्ज सहायक प्रो .सुरभि अबरोल तथा छात्राएं विशेष रूप में उपस्थित रहीं। श्री गुरु गोविंद सिंह एजुकेशनल चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट के अध्यक्ष स. रविंदर सिंह चक् एवं समस्त समिति सदस्यों ने कार्यक्रम संयोजकों तथा छात्राओं की सराहना करते हुए भविष्य में ऐसे ज्ञानवर्धक कार्यक्रम आयोजित करते रहने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
