NSS

The National Service Scheme is an Indian Government sponsored program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of Government of India.  This Scheme was launched in 1969.The Motto of NSS is “Not Me But You”.  The solo aim of NSS is to provide hands on experience to young students in delivering community services.  Throughout the year, various activities and camps were held by the NSS DGC Unit for the volunteers who actively participated in them to help the society under the supervision of NSS Program Officer.

          • Outsiders are invited to deliver the lecture on community services.

NSS DGC Unit has been Awarded as the BEST NSS UNIT AWARD out of 140 Affiliated Colleges of Panjab University, Chandigarh under the supervision of NSS Program Officer Dr. Sonia Chauhan.
