Dasmesh Girls College was honored with a letter of recognition

Dashmesh Girls College Chak Allah Bakhsh Mukerian on the occasions of National Voter’s Day.. On this occasion, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mr. Ashok Kumar SDM Mukerian awarded College Principal, ELC Incharge Dr. Akanksha Verma and Dr Sukhwinder Kaur for best performance in awareness program for new voters. In the ceremony along with Tilak Raj, Mr. Mandeep Kumar and Mr. Narinder Kumar. While sharing the views, SDM Mukerian encouraged the female students to vote and use the right to vote properly in the voter awareness program.

During the program, the college was honored with a letter of recognition for its good performance. At the end of the program, sweep in-charge Dr. Sukhwinder Kaur thanked the guests, the chairman of the college management committee, Sardar Ravinder Singh Chak and all the committee members. College Principal and Sweep-in-Charge Dr. Akaksa Verma and Sukhwinder Kaur and all the staff congratulated and wished them to work in the same way in the future.

An Electoral Literacy Club is a platform to engage school students through interesting activities and hands-on experience to sensitise them on their electoral rights and familiarise them with the electoral process of registration and voting. ELCs are also present in colleges and rural communities
