Session 2024-25

Department of Mathematics and Startup Cell Activity: Event : unlocking the power of mathematics: A dynamic presentation and movie experience.

The Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the Startup Cell of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a PowerPoint (PPT) competition on the theme “Event : unlocking the power of mathematics: A dynamic presentation and movie experience.” Additionally, a movie was screened for B.Sc. students, focusing on the theme of startups to inspire innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.
Objectives of this event is to enhance awareness of mathematical skills and their real-world applications and to encourage students to explore entrepreneurship and startup culture.

Earth Day was celebrated by Department Of Science

Students gave Power Point Presentations and did tree plantation in college campus.Principal madam and all the staff members were present.

Department of Mathematics has celebrated National Mathematics Day with collaboration of MathTech Thinking Foundation on 24Dec,2023 on the topic Mathematics in Data Science and Intelligent Techniques: A Career Approach.
Department of Mathematics has celebrated International Mathematics Day on 14 March 2024.on this occasion poster making , Rangoli making competition was organized.

Session 2022-23

- A one day workshop was organised on National Mathematics Day to celebrate the birth anniversary of the great Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on the topic ” SymPy: A Python Library for Symbolic Mathematics”. The workshop was organised by MathTech Thinking Foundation with the Collaboration of Trinity institute of Professional Study, Dwarka Delhi, Aditya College of Engineering, Madanapalle, Andra Pradesh, and Dasmesh Girls College Mukerian. Dr. Mehar Chand faculty of Department of Mathematics, Baba Farid College, Bathinda, was the Resource Person.
