A Five-Day NSS Teacher Training Camp was organized from 2 September 2026 to 6 September 2026 at the *Regional Mountaineering Centre, McLeod Ganj, Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh* . The training programme aimed to enhance the knowledge, leadership skills, organizational abilities, and community-service orientation of teachers associated with the National Service Scheme (NSS).
The camp included a variety of informative lectures, interactive sessions, group activities, practical exercises, and outdoor activities designed to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure. A trekking activity was also organized as part of the training, providing participants with an opportunity to develop team spirit, physical endurance, coordination, and appreciation for nature.
One of the important sessions of the training was an environmental lecture delivered by
#Dr_Malkit_Singh from Central University, Dharamshala. The session focused on environmental awareness, conservation of natural resources, sustainable living, and the responsibility of youth and educational institutions towards protecting the environment.
