Under the noble guidance of Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Karamjeet Kaur, Department of Science, Dasmesh Girls College, Chak Alla Baksh, Mukerian celebrated National Science Day on 28 February, 2026.
Dr. Rohit Kumar Sharma, associate professor, chemistry department, PU, Chandigarh along with his research team graced the occasion and enlightened the students by presenting Powerpoint presentation on the topic “Exploring scientific careers: Fellowships and Frontiers in modern research”.
On this day, a science exhibition was also organised in which students showcased their talent by preparing models, charts, and through various laboratory demonstrations in different fields of science.
